I've been installing sources on my slackware box. I've been liking that so far. Installing by source and blacklisting the programs in slackpkg and sbopkg, along with the kernel I compiled and installed. I am taking a good amount of pleasure in tweaking this installation as i see fit. Debian didn't give me this power. I like it, but i realize it come with a price. Do I know how to update said programs? When the time comes to update my whole system, what will happen? who knows.. I just know i properly blacklisted the few programs i installed via source. Hopefully, everything will run smoothly. I just remembered to add some shit to sbopkg local.renames.. heh. It's a process, I'm learning. Tomorrow I'm going to pick up my moms package at the post office after therapy, return it to her, get gas then go get my girlfriend's medicine, and take it to her. I will spend some quality time with my girlfriend tomorrow, I will be glad to get off the computer for a while too. Hopefully it wont be sweltering outside or in her house. Hopefully.. Hopefully I don't have to run to Cambridge tomorrow as well, gas aint cheap! I was called today the dentist's office, my wax impressions are in! so now I just need to wait for my appointment next week and then get them fitted, After that, who knows.. perhaps then i will get the final product, new teef! Here's hoping!
